Leisure and activities

Our campsite is especially suitable for doing nothing: simply lounging by the swimming pool. Or enjoying a good book and a glass of wine in your hammock.

However, if you are not that good at doing nothing, there is a lot to see, to do and to experience on and around Domaine Les Angeles.

Sports:

On our camping there is plenty of room to play some football, volleybal or badminton. And since we’re in France: there is also a jeu de boules track.

The surroundings of the campsite offer excellent opportunities for walking and hiking, with the GR de Pays nearby. Cycling and mountainbiking tracks start just in front of the camping. If you can’t bring your own bicycles, don’t worry: we have some mountainbikes for rent.

For guests who like to play golf, there are three splendid golf courses around here, in Auch, Eauze and Fleurance. In Beaucaire-sur-Baïse you can canoe (on the Baïse...), and near Pavie, 3 kilometres south of Auch, you'll find an adventure park, 'Le vert en l'air'. . Furthermore you can ride, fish, play tennis....

Culture:

There are several historical, archaeological and art museums in the region. As for castles, cathedrals, convents and abbeys there is a lot to discover in the surroundings. On walking distance from the campsite you’ll find the Castle of Lavardens. A bit further away, the Cathedral of Condom and the Abbey of Flaran are worth a visit as well.

Gastronomy:

In the Gers one still eats old-fashioned high calorie and extendedly. The foie gras is probably the best known regional product. There are also local strong spirits, like the Armagnac and Floc-de-Gascogne. On several farms and at some castles, tastings are organised.

Summer festivals:

During the summer there are several musical festivals, like the famous jazzfestival in Marciac (in August), the country music festival in Mirande (mid-July) and the Salsafestival of Vic-Fezensac, at the end of July. In Fleurance you can enjoy the street music festival Cuivro Foliz in July and an Astronomy festival in August.

Other activities:

On the circuit of Nogaro races are organised regularly. Especially for children the Walibi amusement park at Agen and the spectacular Cité de l`Espace at Toulouse are big attractions. Moreover the Airbus museum in Toulouse is very interesting.

Practically:

You will find local markets in Fleurance (Tuesday and Saturday), Condom (Wednesday), Jegun (Wednesday), Valence-sur-Baise (Wednesday), Saint-Clar (Thursday), Lectoure (Friday), Vic-Fezensac (Friday) and Castéra-Verduzan (Sunday).

For your further daily shopping you can go to Fleurance, Condom, Vic-Fezensac and Castéra-Verduzan. On the campsite itself we offer a small shop in case of emergency.
